SKINLAB, RE:IGNITION Confirmed For MILWAUKEE METALFEST XIX

February 9, 2007

San Francisco Bay Area metal favorites SKINLAB have announced that they will officially hit the road in May following a three-year hiatus, including a stop at Milwaukee Metalfest XIX, which is scheduled to take place May 11-12 at the Waukesha Expo Center in Waukesha, WI.

Bassist/vocalist Steev Esquivel says, "We've played the Metalfest several times, and it's always been a great experience. We're stoked for the chance to come back and tear it up again for our fans and friends in Milwaukee.'

Also on the bill — performing on the Corporate Punishment Records second stage — will be RE:IGNITION, featuring in its ranks Esquivel, fellow SKINLAB member "Snake" Green, and former VIO-LENCE drummer Mark Hernandez, rounding out the lineup of the stage already set to feature performances by Canadian thrashers 3 MILE SCREAM and MASTERY, BROKEN TEETH (featuring Jason McMaster of DANGEROUS TOYS/WATCHTOWER),YEARS OF FIRE (featuring former members of CHIMAIRA, SHENOAH, RINGWORM),and PAIN PRINCIPLE.

The recently reunited SKINLAB has begun work on its upcoming fifth studio release, which will be released later this year on an as-yet-undetermined label.
